The 1984 Slam Dunk subset was an extension of the 1984 All-Star Game subset and included players in the Slam Dunk competition. This set was basically added onto the All-Star subset with a couple of exceptions to make the 1984 All-Star Game Denver Police subset. The backs of the Denver Police cards included Police tips for youth. The backs of the Slam Dunk cards had a number and name but not stats. The estimated production run of the 1984 Slam Dunk subset is 5,000 cards.
