The 1984 All-Star Game subset has exactly the same front photos as the 1984 All-Star Game Denver Police set. They were both made for the All-Star Game but the Denver Police set had a police tips back for local law enforcement hand-outs. There was also a Slam Dunk set which was associated with this set. This set is 25 cards, the Slam Dunk is 11 cards, and the Denver Police set is 34 cards. The 1984 All-Star seems to be in better condition than the Denver Police set. Plus the Denver Police set is a lot tougher to find. Both sets sell for a premium because they are loaded with great stars. The estimated production run of the 1984 All-Star Game subset is 5,000 cards.
